GOOD NEEEEEEEEEEWS !!!! °O°/
I'll get a job soon !!! After my training period, the animation studio I'm currently working in wants to hire me. Yihaaaaaaaaah ! I won't be paid a lot, but I prefer far more to work on this great project than any shity job I use to do for the same or a lower salary.... Great, I'll work on a job I enjoy, in many differents phases of the animation production, learning lots of stuffs, working with people I love.... I'm lucky, really.
I'm even blessed cause I wanted to travel for few weeks, go and meet some people I like, spend some time with my mum who isn't so good... And though I asked my bosses to start to work in April... And it's exactly what they wanted. So everybody is happy, and I'll have my travelling vacations just before to work ! Youhoooooooooooooh !!!!!
And to add to my happiness, I've got some great and funny opportunities, happening precisely in this period of time ! What else ?
I'm really happy cause when I look back, I have the feeling to get over a very slow and muddy period, a stagnation -artistically and personnaly. Of course, I can't say I've done nothing these last three years, but... Compared to now... I was in a school which didn't suit me, with teachers I disliked, in a too small town, I was working a lot in shitty jobs, stuck in a relationship I'm happy to get out.
Now some of the little seeds I've send everywhere starts to grow. My life is getting better, more complex, more interesting.
Currently lots of new people have asked me "What do you do". "What are you, exactly ?" And I laughed for myself. I don't like the word "artist", too much related in my mind to "contemporary visual artist", what I'm not at all. "Comic book artist" ? With my few stories published ? It's a little early... "Illustrator" ? Not really. "Animator" ? Not gifted enough. "Model" ? Not only. "Performer" ? Neither. "Student" ? Not anymore. "Unemployed" ? I'm not even allowed to be that ^.^,
Then. All mixed together, I'd say I'm an image-maker. |

I'm not allowed to talk about it, I can just say it's a short movie, in traditional animation. I think it'll be on Canal + screen, that's all I know for now..
